The CG work was concentrated around the electric ball that moves around the city and follows the fast camera movements. The challenge was to give this luminous ball an organic aspect and make it interact with its environment to give it consistency. To animate it, we first thought of a first intention of movement, then once validated we materialized it in FX on Houdini. The result is quite natural, we can see that the appearance changes according to the speed and the roughness of the scenery. For example, its luminosity is weaker when it gains speed or it leaves a trail of sparks behind it when it passes over water, a conductive element.
